Fatawa al Madariya (or Al Fatawa al Madariya, also known as Al Anwaarush Shariya Fil Fatawa al Madariya) is a contemporary collection of Islamic rulings (fatwas) specifically compiled for followers of the Madariya Sufi order. The book addresses various issues of Islamic law (Fiqh) from the perspective of the Ahle Sunnat wa Jamaat and the practices of the Madariya order.
Key aspects of the Fatawa al Madariya:
• Compilation and Release: The first volume of the Fatawa al Madariya was released in late 2025 during the annual Urs (anniversary of the passing) of Qutbul Madar Hazrat Syed Badiuddin Ahmad Zinda Shah Madar at the Khanqah-e-Madariya in Makanpur, India.
• Purpose: The compilation aims to provide clear guidance on religious matters, address specific queries related to the Madariya chain, and clarify the stance of the order on certain issues where negative fatwas might have been issued by others.
• Authority: The fatwas were compiled under the supervision of the current Sajjada Nasheen (hereditary custodian/spiritual head) of the Khanqah-e-Madariya, Hazrat Syed Mujeebul Baqi Madari, and his representative, Peer Sufi Syed Zafar Mujeeb Madari.
• Content: The book covers various aspects of Islamic practice and belief, providing answers to questions in an Islamic way.
